Amy Liu (she/her/hers)
Amy C. Liu is a Senior Consultant that brings extensive leadership and coaching skills to Aperian. She has over eighteen years of experience in the field of diversity and cross-cultural business and has been involved in the development and delivery of intercultural programs for executives and managers. She has facilitated for 3M, AIG, Bayer, Citibank, Dell, Disney, Ford, GE, Gillette, HP, Johnson & Johnson, Intel, Kimberly-Clark, Logitech, Nike, Pfizer, Shell, and Unilever.
Prior to working with Aperian Ms. Liu was employed as a bicultural and bilingual consultant and executive coach. During this time she successfully delivered programs to top-level expatriates in Greater China (China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong), Japan and Korea. Before that, she worked in the US as an International Student Counselor in a community college and has also authored “Taiwan A to Z: The Essential Cultural Guide”, published in May 2009.
Ms. Liu holds an MA in Counseling Education from San Jose State University as well as a BA in Economics from the University of California, Irvine. Ms. Liu is a certified Newfield Ontological Coach and has presented at the SIETAR’s annual conferences since 2010. She attends professional development seminars offered by the Summer Institute of Intercultural Communication.
Ms. Liu is currently based in Taipei, Taiwan and is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese.
