Brechtje Fransen (she/her)

Brechtje Fransen is a Senior Consultant for Aperian and has over two decades of experience designing and facilitating team-building sessions and leadership coaching. Her work focuses on fostering trust and psychological safety within diverse teams, helping members gain a deeper understanding of each other’s behaviors and the underlying factors that drive them. By promoting open communication and empathy, Ms. Fransen empowers teams to improve collaboration, increase overall efficiency, and build stronger self-confidence among individual members.

Prior to joining Aperian, Ms. Fransen brings with her expertise and knowledge from consulting services focused on mission-critical goals for teams and leaders. Her extensive background working with Europe and the Americas along with a stint in the aviation industry has afforded her valuable insight into cross-cultural dynamics, enabling her to effectively support individuals and teams in navigating and thriving in culturally diverse environments.

Ms. Fransen currently resides in the Netherlands with her husband and children and is fluent in English and Dutch.

Ms. Fransen holds a Ph.D. in Contemporary Western History from the University of Groningen, along with an M.A. in Contemporary Mexican History. Additionally, she is a certified coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
