Lone Engel (she/her/hers)

Lone Engel joined Aperian in 2014 as a Program Manager. She has worked with many of Aperian’s clients in Asia, Europe, and North America, such as Ford, LEGO, Nissan, Nordisk, Novo, Orsted, Syngenta and others to aid cross-cultural learning to transitioning families. For some years now, Lone has managed the global team of program managers within the mobility line of business. As a Senior Consultant, Ms. Engel facilitates cross cultural learning programs for expats and their families to prepare them for their international journey in their new host country.

Prior to joining Aperian, Ms. Engel worked in communication and marketing in the travel business, and teaching Scandinavian Languages and Culture at the University of Sofia, Bulgaria. She expatriated several times and her work/life experiences expands from Spain to Bulgaria and Argentina. Ms. Engel is the project manager for Aperian’s consulting project to integrate refugees into the Danish workforce through cross cultural awareness building.

A native of Denmark, she now lives with her husband and 2 children in Kolding, Denmark.

Ms. Engel’s educational background includes an MA in Cultural Communication, a BA in Comparative Literature as well as a master class in Organizational Psychology.
