Mei Graefe (She/Her/Hers)

Mei Graefe is a Senior Consultant at Aperian with more than 20 years of experience living and working abroad who facilitates intercultural and diversity programs to help individuals and groups develop the skills necessary to work effectively across cultures. She started working with Aperian in 2010 as a ‘Country Specialist’, providing personal and business anecdotes to support Aperian programs.

Before joining Aperian, she worked for a Chinese trading company as an export manager where she was in charge of negotiating with customers from America, Asia, and Europe while managing Chinese suppliers locally. She also offers seminars focused on culture to European enterprises. Utilizing her professional and personal experience, Ms. Graefe empathizes with the challenges of working globally and strives to share practical and effective solutions.

Born in China, Ms. Graefe has been living in Germany for more than 23 years and is fluent in German, English and Chinese. She currently lives in Munich with her husband and her son.

Ms. Graefe holds an MBA in International Marketing, a degree in Financial Economics from the BWL Institute in Basel, Switzerland and a BA in German Language and Literature.
