Mui Hwa Ng (she/her/hers)

A Leadership Development Consultant based in Asia with more than 26 years experience in this field, Mui Hwa’s facilitation and training repertoire covers a range of executive leadership development programmes – Cross Cultural Competency, Cultural Diversity, Leadership Development, Diversity and Inclusion and Team Effectiveness.

To date she has developed and facilitated talent development programmes, given public talks and coached over 10,000 executives of Fortune 100 MNCs across the world. She is also a consultant to established global consulting organisations including Aperian, Center for Creative Leadership, Impact International.

Certified in GlobeSmart Profile, MBTI, Workplace Big Five, Organisational Workshop, The Inclusive Behaviour Inventory and many other assessment tools including 360 debriefs have allowed her to help senior executives understand themselves better and strategise for greater effective behaviours and outcomes.

Her passion and expertise in Inclusion and Diversity led to her copioneering the development of the initial Fair Employment Practice workshops for Singapore’s TAFEP (Tripartite Association of the Fair Employment Practices), a national agency promoting fair inclusion in SMEs in Singapore.

Her authenticity, ability to connect with diverse audiences as well as her high energy have been inspiring to senior and middle management participants alike. Mui is regarded as a highly effective senior-leader coach, particularly strong in transformational, identity-based, and systems leadership work. Her coaching consistently builds deep trust and insight, and is best suited to leaders navigating complexity, transition, and influence beyond authority.

Her first career in the advertising industry in Asia and Europe gave her a deep appreciation for how mindset changes impact action. This same principle is true in how all human beings operate at work with regard to team collaboration, cross cultural understanding and adaptation, inclusive leadership and personal effectiveness. Her second and current career started in 1999 and the last 2 decades have allowed her to live her mantra:
