Myunghee Kim (she/her/hers)

Myunghee Kim joined Aperian in 2009. She is an expert at training and coaching expatriates and executives and working with multicultural teams. She enjoys designing and facilitating executive workshops and leadership programs and focuses on topics such as strategic issues, problem-solving, and communication skills, pulling from her own client experiences.

Ms. Kim previously worked for McKinsey & Company as a Practice Associate and Manager of Research & Information where she gained valuable first-hand experience working in multicultural teams. She also consulted and coached business leaders in the rapidly-evolving business environment in Korea. Prior to this, Ms. Kim worked for Nova Scotia Bank, a Canadian bank in Seoul, contributing to her knowledge of financial clients.

Ms. Kim is currently working on a series of Expatriate/Repatriate programs for Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Motors Corporation. She is also an Executive Coach and works with key executives of POSCO and LG Electronics. She was born and raised in Korea and speaks fluent Korean and English. She currently lives in Seoul with her husband and son.

Ms. Kim received her MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma, USA and her BA from Konkuk University. She completed a “Coaching for Executives and Professionals” course from the University of Texas at Dallas, USA. She is a certified MBTI and IDI Instrument Practitioner and is also an IBI and Actee Certified consultant.
