Ted Dale

Ted Dale is a Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Aperian and has been actively involved since its inception in 1990. Over the years, he has been instrumental in growing the organization and has played a key role in the development of the Aperian platform, including the creation of the GlobeSmart Profile, the GlobeSmart Guides, and the Aperian Learning Modules. In addition to his involvement in the technology side of the business, he has conducted numerous intercultural training programs at a wide variety of multinational firms.

Mr. Dale was born and raised in Japan by missionary parents, where he spent the first 20 years of his life. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado and his Master of Arts from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California.

When Ted is not busy with Aperian projects, he’s hiking, biking, sitting (zazen), and – more frequently now – planning trips around the globe, always looking to learn from interesting people in faraway places.
