Thierno Mamadou Kane is an international development specialist with close to three decades of experience in training and education. He has served as a consultant and advisor on numerous USAID-funded initiatives across Africa, Latin America, and the United States.
Mr. Kane has held senior roles including Regional Training Advisor for USAID/REDSO in West and Central Africa and International Training Specialist for the USAID Liberia Education Training Program. He has led institutional assessments for training institutions across Liberia, Senegal, Togo, and Guinea, among others.
A native of Mauritania, Mr. Kane holds a Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie (DUT) in Commercial Techniques from the University of Bordeaux, France, and language proficiency certificates from both the University of Bordeaux and Georgetown University. He works professionally in English, French, and Spanish, and speaks Arabic, Fulani, and Wolof.
He is a member of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) and is based in Nouakchott, Mauritania.
