Zuzana Merrifield (she/her/hers)

Zuzana Merrifield is a Cross-Cultural Facilitator and Consultant for Aperian. She has extensive work experience in relocation services, personnel development, and skills training. With over 10 years of experience, Ms. Merrifield has designed and facilitated cross-cultural training projects in the Czech Republic, Russia, and Bulgaria. She has delivered programs for diverse organizations including include Lego, Novartis, Delhaize, Daimler, NN Investment Partners, Merck, and Syngenta.

Ms. Merrifield’s interest in intercultural communication began with her own experience of living and working internationally, during which she gained insight into the challenges faced when relocating professionally. She has lived, worked, and studied in diverse cultures and locations including Slovenia, Bulgaria, Egypt, Switzerland, Russia, Slovakia, and the UK. Ms. Merrifield’s own cross-cultural experience uniquely positions her to provide consultation and coaching to expats.

Ms. Merrifield is fluent in English and Czech and can conversationally speak Russian. She is currently based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Ms. Merrifield holds an MA in Asian studies from Charles University in Prague, and Coaching and Mentoring Practice from Oxford Brookes University, and a BSc with first-class honors in Psychology from The Open University, Buckinghamshire. Ms. Merrifield has a GlobeSmart Profile Certification.
