Unconscious Bias

This program helps employees recognize unconscious bias and apply more inclusive decision-making in everyday interactions.

It only takes seven seconds after encountering someone to form a prejudice based on their appearance. So how can employees avoid stereotypes or other unintended consequences if they’re processing so much information unconsciously? Participants learn how fast judgments and assumptions form and how they influence workplace behavior. This interactive workshop builds awareness and shared language around bias, and provides simple, memorable strategies to interrupt bias in real time. Participants practice seeing situations through a more inclusive lens and create action steps to reduce bias in their day-to-day work.
