Hana Bui

Hana Bui is a Senior Consultant who utilizes her extensive professional experience to deliver Aperian’s solutions. Ms. Bui is an Intercultural Trainer and Coach providing intercultural workshops for expats moving to Vietnam, Myanmar,  Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos.

Prior to joining Aperian, Ms. Bui was the CEO of an HR solutions company. During this time, she provided expertise to global corporate clients on how to get the best out of the local workforce. She also consulted with expatriate clients on Southeast Asian culture, cultural differences and how to avoid cultural conflicts. Ms. Bui has trained and coached expatriates who hold leadership and management roles in multinational companies and non-governmental organizations.

Born in Vietnam, Ms. Bui has worked and travelled extensively in the Southeast Asian region. Currently residing in Myanmar, she is fluent in English and Vietnamese. Ms. Bui has been an active supporter of the Beik Hmam Shin Charity Association Bago, a charity that makes up for the lack of local social services.

Ms. Bui holds an MBA from the University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City, an MA in Globalization and Communications from the University of Leicester, England as well as a BA in Foreign Trade from Foreign Trade University, Vietnam. Ms. Bui is the author of the Bestselling Book about Myanmar in 2019 When Global Meets Local – How Expatriates can Succeed in Myanmar.
