Irina Pshenichnikova (she/her/hers)

Irina Pshenichnikova is a Specialist in Cross-Cultural Management and Intercultural Communication with over 15 years of experience in the field. Her professional services as well as academic research and professorship, concentrate on leadership development and integration, multicultural and cross-border teaming, and global business skills. She is also involved in Aperian mobility talent development practices, facilitating individual and group programs for companies in the manufacturing, engineering, telecommunications, and pharmaceutical industries.

In addition to her consulting role, Dr. Pshenichnikova is a professor at the Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg State University, lecturing on cross-cultural management for global EMBA and corporate MBA programs. She brings tremendous international experience and perspective from her work in South Korea, as well as the United States, Finland, and France. She is an invited lecturer at Reims Management School, France, and at the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland, leading coursework titled, Doing Business in Russia: Cross-Cultural Focus.

Besides her native language of Russian, Dr. Pshenichnikova speaks English fluently. She currently resides in St. Petersburg.

Dr. Pshenichnikova received her PhD in Russian linguistics from St. Petersburg State University, where she also earned an MA in English and Russian linguistics. She is a Fulbright scholar in business anthropology, as well as a certified Human Capital Strategist. She is a member of American Anthropological Association and of the International Association for Cross-Cultural Competence and Management.
