HR Roundtable: Culture, Change, and the People Who Carry It

Event date: September 9, 2026 8:30 am

Join HR and learning leaders to explore how culture and leadership build resilience through change.

Location: Northwestern University – The Garage (Evanston Campus)
Date and Time: Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM CT

Managers and HR leaders set the tone for how organizations navigate transition. They have the power to reduce friction, build resilience, and help teams move through change with confidence.

You’re invited to an exclusive, in-person roundtable co-hosted by Aperian and Northwestern University. HR and learning leaders from the Chicagoland area will come together to explore how culture influences organizational change—and to exchange ideas with peers from higher education and leading organizations.

About the Session

Companies and higher education institutions alike are facing constant change, whether from financial pressure, technological disruption, or a shifting competitive landscape. How organizations respond is deeply influenced by workplace culture: the tension between “culture as anchor” (the shared values and norms that provide stability) and “culture under pressure” (what surfaces when those values are tested).

Through interactive discussion and activities, participants will explore a practical framework for recognizing these dynamics and applying them to real workplace challenges. Participants will receive a complimentary GlobeSmart® Profile—the industry-leading work-style assessment—plus six months of access to the Aperian platform to continue building stronger collaboration across cultures.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Understand how culture can shape the way we respond to change.
  • Learn practical ways to navigate different work styles and strengthen collaboration across teams.
  • Walk away with actionable strategies, a complimentary GlobeSmart® Profile, and six months of access to the Aperian platform.

Space is limited to foster an interactive discussion. Registration is subject to confirmation.
